An Indiana State Trooper was involved in a car accident on U.S. 31 just south of Johnson Road.

A reporter on the scene said that the trooper was traveling south responding to a call. He then got the message that the call was no longer needed so he began to slow down.

As he slowed down, a car pulled out of a gas station parking lot in front of him. He did not have time to stop and he hit the vehicle on the driver’s side door. All injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
